Reading x-hamster.io involves three kinds of personal data at most: the hosting server's log entry, the request your browser sends to Google's font servers, and the 18+ answer saved in your own browser. No accounts. No sign-up or comment forms. No analytics. This policy covers x-hamster.io, a site that writes about xHamster independently; xhamster.com is run by Hammy Media Ltd under its own policy, and the Disclaimer explains why the two are separate.

Data the x-hamster.io Server Logs

The server that hosts x-hamster.io records each page request with your IP address, browser type and the address of the page, as web servers do. Those logs exist to keep the site running and to trace attacks, and they are kept no longer than that needs. The operator of x-hamster.io, whose editor is named on the About Us page, is responsible for them.

What Google Receives Through the Fonts

Every page of x-hamster.io loads the Poppins typeface from fonts.gstatic.com, a Google server, so your browser sends Google your IP address whenever it fetches the font, at least on your first visit; the homepage also opens a connection to fonts.googleapis.com in advance. This was checked in the site's code on 12.10.2026. Google's own privacy policy covers that data.

A German court has treated that transfer as unlawful. On 20.01.2022 the Munich Regional Court ordered a website operator to pay a visitor €100 for passing his IP address to Google through embedded fonts (case 3 O 17493/20). A content blocker set to block fonts.gstatic.com stops the request, and the pages fall back to a system font.

The 18+ Answer Stored in Your Browser

Pressing Enter on the 18+ notice makes x-hamster.io write one entry, xh_age_ok, to your browser's local storage. It holds the time of the click and nothing else, so the notice stays away for 30 days. The entry never leaves your device and disappears when you clear the site's data. Press Leave and nothing is stored at all: the browser simply goes to google.com. x-hamster.io does not knowingly collect data about anyone under 18.

Partner Site Data After a /go Click

Once a /go link takes you off x-hamster.io to xHamster or a partner site, their policies decide what is collected, as the Affiliate Disclosure and the Cookie Policy describe. Accounts opened there fall outside x-hamster.io, as the Terms of Service make clear.

Age checks happen over there too. Since 25.07.2025 UK law has made porn services verify ages, with methods Ofcom lists such as photo-ID matching and facial age estimation. An ID document or selfie you submit goes to that service or its age-check provider, never to x-hamster.io.

Getting a Copy of Your Data or Deleting It

Email [email protected] with privacy in the subject line to ask x-hamster.io what it holds about you, to correct it or to delete it; the Contact page says what else helps. The deadline depends on where you live. UK organisations usually have one month, according to the ICO, and the European Commission applies the same one-month rule in the EU. California's CCPA allows 45 days, extendable by another 45, the California Attorney General explains. It binds only businesses above thresholds such as $26,625,000 in yearly revenue, the figure the California Privacy Protection Agency set from 01.01.2025.

In practice x-hamster.io holds an email address only if you wrote to it, and keeps the message until the matter is closed. If analytics or forms are ever added, this policy changes first and the updated date below moves.
